On the way home from work yesterday, I was listening to NPR and learned something extremely fascinating. The Super Bowl in all of its existense has never been the most watch TV show in history. It was the final episode of what show?

Okay, hint one, the year was 1983.

Hint two, Alan Alda.

That is right folks. M*A*S*H’s final episode was the most watched TV show of all time cranking in an audience of 125 million viewers. Not one SuperBowl has ever come close.

I feel that this year has a damn good chance. Here is why…

The Steelers. The Real America’s Team. Not the Dallas Cowboys. No team has a following or more dedicated fans than the Pittsburgh Steelers. Name one major city where there isn’t a Steelers Bar. We shall see.

Less than one hour away… infamous Ground Hog Day… the day that Punxsutawney, PA shines like no other. Will that fury little fuck see his shadow or not. GHD has got to be the absolute epitome rinky-dink holidays. Hell, is it even considered a holiday?

I would love to know whose grandiose idea this was, BUT from what I have heard, if you make that trek up to Punxsy, you will absolutely love it. There is nothing quite like freezing your ass off and getting lit. Oh wait, isn’t supposed to be sunning yourself and getting lit.
