The vast majority of the DVD Download sites reviewed here are neither great nor awful, just unexceptional. Each site was flawed, but some were more flawed than others. Granted, I’m being much harder on these sites than most reviewers would probably be, but that’s only because I care so much about you, faithful reader—I would hate for you to get ripped off.
So which DVD Download site emerged from the coliseum victorious?
DVDBox, the most appealing site I reviewed, exited the arena virtually unscathed—its videos actually appeared to be DVD quality and the site boasted a fairly decent collection of smut. DVDBox is most certainly our editor’s pick—join it without fear, friend. If DVDBox goes out of business, then VideosZ will make a suitable replacement, I guess. With regards to Ten.com and VideoHub, they were so terrible that they were both crucified upon leaving the coliseum; no one mourned their timely deaths, which ushered into being a newer and friendlier Internet. And Jesus wept.
Dirty Peter Says:
Well, out of the gate, I would have to agree with Joseph that DVDBox and VideosZ are the best options here. For the overall sheer volume of DVDs, coupled with the cost and ease of navigation, these sites are certainly ahead of the others. Download Pass definitely has potential and most likely will compete in the future. Ten has that community feel if you like that sort of thing. VideoHub is the one that I completely disagree with Joseph on. This site has all European movies which is my sort of thing as I mentioned earlier. Plus, it only costs $19.95/Month, and the only site where I found True HD videos!
